Onto the Ipswich motorway en route for Toowoomba. We drove inland up the eastern side of the Great Dividing Range through rolling green hills and valleys of the Darling Downs and into Toowoomba to visit Janelle's bf Katanya. Thanks to Kat, Adam and Paige for a BBQ dinner and accommodating us with a room woohoo!
The next day we went to the Cobb & Co. museum to see the history of the horse carriages and the craftwork from yesteryears including leatherwork, blacksmithing, wagon wheels and coopers. Stella had a great time recognising all the farm animals and imitating their calls - "bock bock, neigh, moo and woo woo".
We had lunch at one of Katanya's recommendations and were served some of the best salads we've had! Stella had fun in one of Toowoombas many great parks and gardens and then we cooked up a Chilli feast for our hosts.
Thanks to Adam who ran some maintenance and upgrades on our camper. We are now ready to head south down the New England Highway to Tamworth. Farewell to our wonderful host family and thanks very much for everything, including Kat's baking which tied us over for the road trip!
