After 5 marvellous days in Burleigh Heads we are off to the Gold Coast hinterlands to meet with Glenn, Dan, Finn and Taya again this time for 2 nights at Spring Gully Stays in Canungra.
The homestead has been in the family for 82 years and in the last 20 years they have been developing it into camp grounds with safari tents, bush camping and big outdoor camp kitchens and tables. There was a running creek wrapping around the grounds and it was a very welcome plunge during the day when it got hot. The kids had a great time together and it was great to camp with Glenn and Dan again this time in our camper trailers.
We got a fire started and Stella had roasted marshmallows for the first time. The kids weren't too interested in roasting them however; they were keen to eat them straight from the packet as fast as possible!
